About the Author

Mike Smuts is a recognised London property expert and property investor who has helped many South Africans make great returns in the London property market.

Born and educated in Cape Town, Mike has been living and investing in London since 2000. His London based property investment firm, Smuts & Taylor, works specifically with South Africans who want to diversify offshore by investing in the London market.

He writes an educational blog and bi-weekly newsletter for his clients, presents numerous seminars on London property investment and regularly contributes to the South African Real Estate INVESTOR Magazine on all matters relating to the London market.

His straightforward approach and unique insight have made him a regular feature in both the UK and South African media and Mike has offered market insight to the likes of Business Day, Property24, Moneyweb, The Weekend Argus, Die Burger and The Property Magazine.

He lives in between his home in Cape Town and his home in London with his wife Debbie and their baby daughter Lily.
